
What is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP)?
Throughout the world, the Certified Protection Professional (CPP™) designation is acknowledged as the security profession’s highest recognition of practitioners. Ongoing professional development is required in order to maintain the credential. The CPP™ is administered by ASIS International, the preeminent international organization for security professionals, with more than 35,000 members worldwide.
CPP Eligibility Requirements
- Nine years of security work experience, with at least three of those years in responsible charge of a security function -or-
- A bachelor’s degree or higher and seven years of security work experience, with at least three of those years in responsible charge of a security function
